Greetings from Walt and Suzan Fuhrmann, aboard COP-OUT, at San Andres Island. We saw the mention on the net of Grace, a sailboat that apparently had been holed and was here. We finally found it, on the commercial docks. If anyone is wondering, they hit the Serrano Banks, were holed, their automatic bilge pump gave up after about 12 hours of continual running, their manual finally gave up as the rubber bellows failed. Within an hour of activating their EPIRB the US Coast Guard showed up, assisted by giving them a monster pump. It was Grace´s decision to go to San Andres where they could be hauled, so the Coast Guard, after confirming they did not want to abandon and were not sinking, resumed their patrol.

They did not ask me to send this, but just wanted to clarify the incident, kudos to the Coast Guard, and although the couple were exhausted, are now fine, and the boat is getting repaired here.
