This website is a collaborative effort of boaters in the northwest Caribbean Sea.  It is intended to mirror the format and spirit of the Northwest Caribbean Radio Net, whose purpose is "to exchange information and facilitate communications to boaters" in the area.  Any mention of commercial business is the decision of the editor.  Any such mention is for the purpose of informing boaters of either important or little-known services or products.  The editor receives nothing in return for such mention.  This website is funded and edited by David Waltz, of m/s BellaDonna WDC3487 (ham AG4LI).  All boaters are encouraged to contribute information to this website, to help others who follow in your wake. Special notice - the editor has moved from landline internet to living aboard BellaDonna.  Slow wifi is a fact of life here.... please bear with us.

11/17 SeaCat is looking for someone with experience in Wiki's.

The idea being that this Web Site could be augmented by having it's own Wiki (user compiled and web accessible database - Like Wikipedia) for this cruising grounds of NW Caribbean.

It should be managed by as many as 6 Administrators who'd be responsible for countries or topics depending on how it's arranged.  Primary subjects would be Emergency contacts in the various areas, such as Search & Rescue, Port Captians etc.

Other Topics could include Check-in info, overtime costs and the perennial question about bringing dogs into Belize.
